Note: This policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of Accord Studio after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Who we are

Accord Studio is a fragrance formulation workspace for perfumers, independently owned and operated. Contact us at accordstudioapp@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you create an account we collect your name and email address. When you use the app we store the data you create, including your material Archive, formulas, libraries, and notes. We do not store payment information. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, which operates as an independent data processor under its own privacy policy.

How we use your data

We use your data solely to provide the Accord Studio service. Your formulas, materials, and notes are private to you and are never shared with third parties, analyzed for advertising, or used to train AI models. We do not sell your data.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate personal data
• Export your Archive and formulas at any time
• Delete your account and all associated data permanently from the Profile page
• Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion all personal data and user-generated content is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymized usage data may be retained for analytics purposes.

Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data storage, row-level security, and secure authentication via Supabase. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data we will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of the incident.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Third party services

We use the following third party services, each operating under their own privacy policy:

• Supabase, for data storage and authentication
• Stripe, for payment processing. We never store card details.
• Vercel, for hosting and infrastructure

International users

Accord Studio is operated from the United States. If you are located in the European Union or other regions with data protection laws, please be aware that your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using Accord Studio you consent to this transfer.

California residents

If you are a California resident you have additional rights under the CCPA including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will notify users by email at least 14 days before changes take effect.
